ZZP Sonic/Cruze 12.6" Front Brake Kit

This is the ultimate front brake kit for you Chevy Sonic or Chevy Cruze featuring 12.6" rotors and 4 piston ZZP calipers. The stock brakes feature an 11" rotor and single piston sliding calipers, which is a known pain point of the Gamma platform. The key to better braking performance comes with larger rotors, larger pad contact patch, and better heat distribution of fluid; this kit addresses all of those areas. Larger pad surface area = increased braking performance and reduced brake fade. Not only does this kit drastically improve your braking performance, they also look great compared to stock calipers! 

Kit includes:

• (2) 4 piston ZZP calipers
• (2) Custom 12.6" rotors
• Powerstop Z17 Brake Pads
• Caliper Pin Kit
• Caliper mounting bolts
• Copper crush washers
• 10mm hubcentric wheel spacers
• (10) Extended wheel studs

A minimum 10mm spacer is needed to fit this kit with stock Sonic RS wheels, which is now included with the kit. A spacer this large will require extended wheel studs (also included) for proper thread engagement of your lug-nuts. Be sure to mock up the kit to check wheel fitment before final installation. Caliper protrudes 42mm from the rotor face towards the outside of the wheel. Works with stock front brake lines, but as an added upgrade we offer stainless brake lines here.

A 9/16" drill bit is needed for installation, the stock caliper mounting holes need to be enlarged for the larger caliper bolts. Do note that we do not recommend going back to stock brakes after installation unless you replace your knuckles. This product does require removal or modification of the stock backing plate.
