ZZP Sonic/Cruze Valve Spring Tool

This valve spring tool is designed to make swapping valve springs on your 1.4L engine to our ZZP 72# valve springs a breeze, and do so affordably. The CNC plates bolt right to the cam caps on your engine and the included plunger compresses the retainer to easily access the keepers. Compress spring, remove keepers, swap springs, compress, reinstall keepers, and repeat. This tool is designed to be able to change the springs with the cylinder head still on the car, but works perfectly with the head off the car as well. 

You will still need an air compressor and fitting to keep pressure in the cylinder to keep the valve up while you swap springs. You will follow all steps in typical valve spring replacement while using this tool. 

Tool to cam cap torque spec: 71 in/lbs. Do not overtighten, the cylinder head is very soft. 

Works on all 1.4L LUV/LUJ/LUH engines include Sonic, Cruze, Trax, and Encore.
